It is with great regret that the decision has been made to cancel the Junior
Deal Triathlon. Despite all our efforts, the decision was completely out of

Open Water Swimming Coaching for Juniors
Triathlon England South East is pleased to announce open water swimming coaching for juniors. Please see dates below:

The cost for each session will be £10.00. However, the South East Region is pleased to announce that it will be subsidising this cost by £4.00 for any junior member from TESE. The subsidy can be redeemed on the day by producing your Triathlon England Membership Card.

South-East Regional Triathlon Academy 2009
Applications are invited from athletes
aged 12 and upwards to be considered for inclusion in the Triathlon England
South-East Regional Academy. Enquiries and applications will be taken from
existing triathletes and those currently in other sports who feel they may meet
the selection criteria.
Three Academy days will be held at the
Eastbourne campus, University of Brighton on;

TRIATHLON ENGLAND SOUTH EAST SCHOOLS SERIES 2009
This is a new series established for 2009, venues have now been confirmed as:
Schools will be invited from the surrounding locations and will receive coaching
from Christian and Nick (Regional Development Coaches). Local clubs are
encouraged to engage with the new series and provide an exit route for the
participants. A big thank you to Christian for all the hard work getting this
off the ground.
kids of steel

Corus Kids of Steel is a series of triathlon event for kids between the ages of 8-13. The events are about having fun, having a go and trying your best.
Triathlon is a fun sport where you get to swim, bike and run-in that order and without stopping in between.
Over 10,000 children took part in the Corus Kids of Steel triathlon events in
2008, don't miss your chance to give it a try. You can take part with your school or on your own. The event is open to all children between the ages of 8 – 13.

athletes best three performance
A competitor’s age is taken as of the 31/12/2008
and not age on race day.
The Tri star category is non competitive, there will be no series places
or prizes.
To be eligible to compete in the South East Series and to represent
the region at the IRC's, athletes must either live in or be an active member
of a BT club affiliated to the region.
Athletes may only represent one region
in any one year and must represent the same region in Aquathlon and Triathlon.
